CVH Consultations was established by professionals who spent careers inside criminal justice institutions — as law enforcement officers, court administrators, correctional leaders, and policy advisors. We know the pressures agencies face because we've faced them ourselves.

C. V. Hamel
With over 24 years of experience spanning law enforcement leadership, policy development, and organizational reform, Christopher founded CVH Consultations to bring common sense, practitioner-level expertise to agencies navigating complex institutional change. Christopher served as a Corrections Officer, Probation/Parole Officer, Police Officer, Paralegal Specialist for the U.S. Attorney's Office. Throughout Christopher's career, he was on teams opening and staffing 2 brand new correctional facilities, training instructor and development for over 15 years, taught Criminal Justice for a combined 23 years at both the University and Community College levels. Christopher also served as a union representative and Vice President of a local union for 15 years, providing the best possible outcomes for both front line employees and the administration, to include contract negotiations, contract languages, high end settlement recommendations and organizatinoal strategies. During Christopher's career, attended hundreds of court cases, prosecuted at the District Court level, states witness, prepared hundreds of motions, complaints, data spreadsheets and attended numerous arbitration hearings and testified before legislation hearings. Christopher attened the University of New Hampshire where he obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Criminal Justice and Springfield College where he obtained a Masters of Science (M.S.) in Organizational Management and Leadership.
